Hello everyone, Presently I am doing analysis of a multi story building which contains curved beams in ETABS 2013. First i converted the curved beams into 5 small straight line segments using continuous end moment releases then it shows shear failure which does not happen if i divide the same into just two straight line segment but as per my opinion curved beam consists of infinite line segments so first should give the much better results. I am attaching my file in which i have divided one curved beam into 4 line segments and the rest are in just two straight line segment. But that one curved beam fails due to shear please give it a look and what am i doing wrong here?? 333.EDB
