  1. I face same problem but when I run detailing for showing the shear wall details and section I see in some of shear wall the two result( area of rebar from display desin inf in shear wall design and the result from number of rebar in detailing obtained from run detailing and this is as shown for example of a project designed by etab
  2. In etab 2016 I have design shear wall and there is difference between area of rebar obtained from display design info and number of rebar shown by run detailing and seeing the sections in detailing and this problem is shown as the graph below clearly also I have attached the etab model file: TEST P1 Tower .EDB
  3. how we apply lateral K for soil on basement wall in etab

I have tried by assigning non uniform load on the wall in etab and I faced problem of finding value of (A,B,C,D )but later I have prepare a sheet excel to find (A,B,C,D ) from some input value shown in high lighted blue I will try to attach the excel sheet here and it is use full only for lateral water forces for tank or swimming polls and I will try to prepare additional sheet for other type WATER FORCE ON WALL.xlsx
  5. how can I enter the value of lateral spring that I have from geotechnical consultant in etab 2013 or 2015

I want to ask if we should give modifier for sections like shear walls, columns, ....etc or leaving as it is ,please I want some explanation about this because I have two high rise building and I need some information about them and if I assume my slab as a rigid diaphragm this affect on it or not
  7. please tell me how can I get fundemental period of structure in etab
