  1. @BAZ dear , in the non-linear parameter window, there are much parameters. can you exactly figure out where i need changes.. Null steps are not an issue with me as i made it equal to maximum steps.
  2. Hello All, i have performed pushover analysis, however, structure does not go full steps. i mean there is total 100 steps to be performed. but it goes only upto 6 steps.. Kindly i am sharing its picture . do review and suggest me answer.... My colleague told me there is something in steps or itreation. where changes can make it but he is not sure.

Thanks for your kind response. yet i have question . i have applied Earthquake combination along with service loading.. now for Eq. in x direction with + ive all supports have compression or say upward reaction. but when EQ in x direction with -ive applied . there is tension occurring in one of the column support.. so what to do with it. i asked my friend and he say just apply service loading without Earthquake so how i can do that because if Earthquake happen then ?? if you dont mind i will have to talk you on email or phone call ...

Foundation load combinations . i am analyzing concrete frame structure, i have assigned load combination of service (dead, super imposed dead ,live load with Earthquake + and - direction). after analysis run i found that due to one of the combination with Earthquake load there is support reaction in downward direction which shows that there is tensile force produced at that column or location. also the compression or upward support reaction value is much greater ( cross limits of Bearing capacity). But when i do only service load analysis without Earthquake load so everything is ok. . so Please guide me which load combination i have to take for it . Kindly if possible give proper reference of any standard document. your early response will be highly appreciated. Thanks
  7. F11 is along X- axis or local axis 1 ? also how dead load cause it . i means its kind of shear if i am not wrong

HI . i Do analyze shell element ( vertical wall ) and found its result as this . for dead load when i see F11 it show me below diagram with some valve positive and some negative. what that positive and negative means ? is that tension and compression ? if yes so what sign used for compression and what for tension ?
