Please, I need your help to provide me with information about the design of shear walls using MIDAS GEN when considering Case 1, as illustrated in the picture below. How can I correctly designate the right and left columns attached to both ends of the wall as a global shear wall in MIDAS GEN?
This situation is crucial and important for studying the global and local performance of seismic building designs using slender shear walls. Is it possible to host a webinar addressing this problem?
When I select the wall in MIDAS GEN, it doesn't take into account the contribution of the end columns. It lacks the feature of incorporating walls with columns, which is necessary for accurately adding reinforcement.
