  1. How to apply "ECCENTRIC LOAD IN ETABS"? Like if i have a 18in*18 in column and load is applied 0.75 inch away from the centroid, how do i apply it?
  2. Dear experts, How to offset a slab vertically in v19? BR, Anwar
  3. Hello, In modeling Etabs Model some times it seems that beam rest on the off center of the column. After analysis we found that beam load cant transfer in the column. Can we use link command to join the beam with column center? Is it technically sound? Thanks in advanced
  4. Hello everyone. I would like to model eccentricity of columns and beam but I have encountered some problems using the insertion point in Etabs. Here are my questions: 1. What is the difference between using cardinal point and joint offset? I tried to joint offset a column as if it was offset using the cardinal point (eg. bottom left), but then the analyze results are different. Why? 2. When using the insertion point, we have to transform the stiffness. I did not do any offset but changed the transform stiffness option to "yes" then applied a point load at the top. Comparing to columns without stiffness transform, the results are different. Would anybody explain why? And when we use the insertion point, shall we transform the stiffness of the object with offset? Or shall we transform the stiffness of objects which have connection with the offset object as well? Appreciate!
  5. how i model when the slab is connected to the lower face of the beam rather than with its top face in etabs?
  6. salam, How do we include Eccentricity between columns and beams in Etabs ??
  7. السلام عليكم If we don't put the beam end on the center of column exactly , will be there load transfer from the beam to the column ???
  8. AOA:i want to connect my slab flush with the underside of beam in etabs but there is no option insertion point of shell to frame objects in etabs or if it is i have not found yet .cardinal points apply only to frame objects.
