  2. Kindly share any material on how to design a tunnel on sap2000. Attached is a pic of a model i found somewhere. this person has braced the tunnel by using "link supports" which I have no idea about since i have ever used them. Whats the purpose of these supports? Its properties have terms like coupled or uncoupled stiffness. and factors for line area and solid springs etc. That image is attached too and the values this person has entered are 1000 and 1000000. Its going above my head. Please guide about this and also how to calculate stiffness and when to define stiffness for a member?
  3. I AM TIRED OF SEARCHING WEB FOR TUNNEL DESIGN MATERIAL. GOT ONE EXCEL SHEET WITH SHORT CALCULATION AND NO IDEA HOW THEY DID IT. PLEASE REFER ME TO ANY TUNNEL DESIGN SOFTWARE OR MANUAL EXAMPLES SO THAT I MAY BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND TUNNEL DESIGN IN DEPTH.
  4. CANT FIND SOLVED EXAMPLES FOR CONCRETE OR STEEL TUNNEL DESIGN. SHARE IF YOU HAVE ANY. OR ANY SAP2000 MODEL OR TUTORIAL SHOWING HOW TO APPLY DIFFERENT TUNNEL LOADS. JAZAKALLAH.
  5. Assalam-o-alaikum, Dear Colleagues! The Øresund bridge is an engineering marvel that connects the Danish capital of Copenhagen to the Swedish city of Malmö. A cable-stayed bridge runs nearly 8 km (5 miles) to an artificial island where it transitions into a tunnel that runs another 4 km (2.5 miles). The award-winning double-track railway and motorway opened on July 1, 2000.
