Advice for Ms

2 posts in this topic

I need an advice regarding postgraduate studies. By grace of Almighty I received an admission letter from Technical University Dresden, Germany in ACCESS  (Advanced Computational and Civil Engineering Structural Studies) program.

And Inshallah will have admission letter from Swinburne university Australia as well.

As I graduated in 2015 and have not landed a proper structure job yet, so i need a suggestion that should i go with masters or gain some experience prior to it?

Doing masters back to back with bachelors is not a bad idea if you are doing research. If you are more like a design person, then you should better get a job, but if you want to stay academic, go for masters.

      A.A! hope all members are fine. I'm confused about my master degree that in which field, i must pursue my degree? There are three options in my mind;
      MS Structural engineering, UET Lahore MS Construction Engineering & Management, NUST Islamabad MS Disaster Management, NUST Risalpur Your worthy suggestion required. Apart from these degrees, if there is any other degree more useful, kindly do inform.
      Hoping for a positive response from respected seniors.

      Seniors to please recommend 2 or 3 good SE universities for MS (Abet accredited) and Non-US which do offer easy scholarships
      Secondly please throw light on whether one may get admitted into them, while one is still in final year of bachelors..

      i mean affording so much expences and pain would be a good idea for a fresh engineer to get a master`s degree from abroad..
      or it is better worth to go for a local post graduate programme like in engg or as well as going for an MBA programme..
      please guide me if u can.. nd thanku..
