    Need a Job

Hi all, I am an Australian citizen/ passport holder and want to move back to Pakistan as my family lives over there . I did my civil engineering bachelor's from Pakistan. I have more than 5 years of experience out of which I spent 4 years in a field of post tensioning at Qatar. Currently located here in Adelaide and plan to visit Pakistan till May 2019. I'm not picky about location. Are there any construction opportunities available? How to secure a better job? Any construction companies or firms are welcome to contact me on my mobile number +61-410720038 as per Australian time. Any recommendations are welcome. Thanks all.

    Need a Job

Thank you so much Umer. I really appreciate your suggestions. Currently I have no connection with my friends whatsoever due to being in Qatar and Australia but would definitely join some forums like LinkedIn in the near future before visiting Pakistan. Thanks again.

    Need a Job

Hi Hamad, It is good that you have posted here. Here are my thoughts: Generally for jobs, the start point would be connecting/ networking with your friends from Bachelors Degree as most/ all of them would be employed and it would be easier for them to get you in their firms as they know you personally and can vouch for you. There are companies in Pakistan that do work specifically on post-tensioning like Izhar or other Bridge Construction Companies. I would suggest getting back to your friends first and if that doesn't work, scan through advertisements in newspaper. You can also connect with people here that are active to see if they have an opening in their office etc. Thanks.

  5. It is preferable to adjust the framing in order to reduce the torsion. Having said that, the code does not restrict us to a particular value.
