Hi !
I'm relatively new etabs user, I have a little problem regarding the displacements.
I have modelled a 38 story tower and I'm currently checking the story displacements.
When I use the response plot module, my displacements are normal for the wind combination ~180 mm at the top
When I extract the joint displacement table, the max displacement for the same combination reaches ~900 mm !
I can't find out why and I don't know how etabs plots the maximum story displacement.
Has anyone ever encountered this issue ?
