  1. “‎There are dreamers and there are realists in this world, you think the dreamers would find the dreamers and the realists would find the realists, but more often than not the opposite is true. See the dreamers need the realists to keep the dreamers from soaring too close to the sun. And the realists? Well without the dreamers, they might not ever get off the ground”Rana Waseem@ You have been very inspiring and i really needed that motivation, thanks alot! And i got an email from HW which says that i can apply for the masters program! And I'm also in contact with some universities in the UK. I can get admission in either msc structural engineering program or msc civil engineering(With concentration or specialization in structural engineering)... ( i may have to do a PGD first depends on my experience ) but 'I CAN' . And i can also get registered at IET and ICE (UK). So yeah i am gonna move to either uk or uae as soon as i get my honours degree or do it through distant learning and enter this field no matter what! In the mean time i am buying books and tutorials on etabs etc, studying american and British building codes and standards. And i am in contact with some structural engineers, trying to find someone who can may be give me home tuition or something all i want is to learn. Wish me luck guys and thanks everyone! And I'd really appreciate it, if you guys could help me and guide me to my passion!

  2. Real failure iz NOT TO TRY, THOSE HAVING FEAR OF FAILURE IN THEIR MINDS NEVER ACHIEVE SOMTHING SPECTACULAR....

  3. The concept is that: "Shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you will land in stars". Just because you are trying to achieve something that is not possible from one perspective and even if you don't achieve it you will still become something not as great as your inspiration but better than what you used to be.

  7. guyz only thing that matters is passion! i was in school, our school motto was "i can, i will", my college motto was "courage to know" i still remember that all! you just need to have THE TALENT, THE PASSION, willingness to learn! atleast i see in him, all this, so would not i appreciate and try to inspire him more. to be honest i think, even if some has willingness to learn, he can learn engineering without even a degree. this is not to point out anyone! and not to let any one down! but guyz appreciate him atleast for what he thinks!

  8. There is no such thing as being realistic. Everything is possible. Be ambitious. Challenge everything. Success is continuous failure and that is what defines a successful person. Just go and happen to things. Allah will help you.

  9. look! this world is so unfair! its a fact! you have a good degree you still might not get a good job! okay! and who says if ur a b.tech u cant be good structural engineer! yes practitioners may not have qualification. and yes international universities recognise this! Unfortunately i dont have any idea if any firm in pakistan thinks out of the box and go out of the normal ways! but keep moving, keep struggling! Distant learning is yes difficult, I would not recommend it to you! Fee is same, duration is max 7 years, Its upto you! course is same, infact everything is same! difference is just have to study your self! which is difficult! Do you think Mark Twain, Henry Ford, William Shakespeare or Albert Einstein had degrees? You already have B.Tech! just ask your self! "WHY CANT YOU?"
