Thanks For Your Response Do you have ACI 214-10 ?? AND ASTM E 178-08 ?? Those two Documents Will solve all Problems..

1) ACI 214 mentioned E 178-80 for two sided test table 1 But in E 178-02 table 1 is for one sided test 2) Can you give me alink to ASTM E 178-80 ?? That will be greatly appreciated. 3)one sided and two sided test are not clear to me ..But it seems here it's a two sided test 4)With all the due respect I think your point 3 (2nd para) is Wrong .Say Q= 2 , Say the value of table 1 for 1% w.r.t number of observation is 1.80 or 1.90 or 1.95 ,Q >(~) table value So the possibility of having a core like this is about 1 in every 100 ,which is very unlikely ,So can be defined as an Outliner.

How to select & eliminate an outliner among a set of core strength ??? ACI Code 214 has an example ..But it's not clear to me. Among 3200 psi ,3500 psi ,2000 psi,3400 psi ,3600 psi,3450 psi is 2000 psi an outliner ?? How to find mathematically ??
