Hello all, i want to draw the hysterises curve for the given model in ABAQUS. I have simulated the model but i am confused in post processing. Please Answer my question; Is it okay to find the net reaction force from the given Summation of All RF1 component given in the figure for the cyclic loading on cantilever end? How to find the net Reaction force for the given model as forces are involved, RF1 and RF2?

Aoa, I am trying to validate my manual calculation with SAP2000 for moment distribution method. Attached is the Microsoft excel spread sheet calculation with SAP2000 file. When i remove the joint displacement (settlement) from joint b. The software matches the calculation with the manual calculation but when i apply the joint displacement, the software calculations does not matches with the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. I need to explain it in my online class (hopefully someone reading this post will response ASAP). Can some one help me out on this? I guess i am doing mistake in fixed end moment due to support settlement but i am not able to find out the exact reason. Example - Beam with support settlement.xlsx Sap2000 Varification.rar

Aoa! I want to compare deflection of a R.C.C Simply supported beam using Manual calculation and verification with SAP2000. My question is how does SAP2000 consider creep and shrinkage in deflection calculation for ACI Code, Australian Code and Euro-code (If Australian Code and Euro-code is available in SAP2000)? Please explain briefly. If i am not wrong, as per ACI Code the deflection calculated for a beam should be multiplied with creep and shrinkage coefficient after immediate deflection value.

Hello every one! Can some one help me in modeling the given beam - column joint in SAP2000? Can we model it in SAP2000? Only geometry and reinforcement having same parameters as defined in the given figure? For analyses purpose i have to model it in SAP2000 and want to import it to Abaqus/cae.
