I have come across an article that has some interesting results, but I am a bit confused about the units used for measuring the displacement. The article presents results on page 8 where the out-of-plane drift in cm is given. However, the results seem unusually small, and I suspect that the values presented are spectral displacements.
I am not entirely sure about the difference between spectral displacement and linear displacement, and I am wondering if anyone can help me out. Could someone please take a look at the article and let me know if my suspicion is correct? Furthermore, if the results are indeed spectral displacement, can anyone guide me on how to convert spectral displacement to linear displacement or drift?
