  1. Hi ! I have some quereis regardinh nonlinear analysis. I am going to perform Nonlinear Dynamic Analysis using SAP2000. First of all, tell me what is the difference between simple stress strain curve and Hysteresis model. If i have the compressive tested concrete and its stress strain data from UTM then i will define the curve as it is in SAP2000. So why Hystereis is required. As in SAP2000 variois Hystersis models are available i.e. Takeda, Concrete etc..What is the purpose of these models ? So if i don't want to use builtin Hysteresis model, can i define my own model? If yes then from where i will find this model? Is it from shake table test ? Further, at where i will define that hysteresis data in SAP2000 as i have already defined my stress strain curve of concerte which was obtained from Universal Testing machine ? May these Hysteresis models run the defined stress strain curve ? Anybody can clear my points ? Thanks
  2. Hello Guys ! Anybody knows, that how to define moment, axial and shear hinges in SAP2000 by using User Define Hinges ? How to obtain Moment Curvature curve for Hinges ? How to define A B C D points in Hinge definition in SAP2000 ? If possible, then kindly share complete document on above topic or any other video tutorial. Thanks

  4. How i can convert the attached input motion data of shake table into Time History using SeismoSignal or any other program ? Actually, i have to perform time history analysis. So Time Histories are required rather than attached frequency domain data.
  5. How i can convert the attached shake table test data into time history using seismoSignal or other program ? Actually i need Time History data for time history analysis.

  6. Could you please share the algorithm regarding conversion ? Thanks
  7. How i can model masonry infill as a equivalent diagonal strut in SAP2000. I have to go for No-Linear Time History Analysis. Which type of element will be used for diagonal strut modeling representing the masonry infill behavior. Simple diagonal beam element with axial hinge at center ? Or using Link Element with GAP properties ? Kindly share the complete procedure for modeling equivalent diagonal strut in SAP2000 with openings (Doors and Windows)
  8. Ok Thanks. How i can convert the above data into time domain using SeismoSignal ? Could you please help me ?
  9. Anybody knows, how to convert the the Ground Motion data from Frequency from to Time and Acceleration (Time History) form. Actually the shake table test has been performed and sinusoidal ground motions are used as see in attached file. Now for numerical simulation purposes, i have to use this ground motion data in SAP2000 where the data required should be in Time and Acceleration (Time History) form.
