The minimum of raft concrete is 0.0018bh.
Some engineers argue that the reinforcement taken out from this formula should be distributed between two faces (top and bottom), while others explain this is only for one face (bottom or top only).
Also regarding retaining wall, Firstly is the minimum 0.0033bh or 0.0018 ? and is this to be distributed between both faces or single face ?
Can the experts please clarify this.
