Dear All! I am modelling an RC Frame in DIANA FEA and comapring the results with the experimental data. I am using Material Model for Concrete for Compression as "Parabolic", For Tension as "JSCE Tension Stiffening", Crack Bandwith Specification as "Rots", Reduction Model as "Vecchio and Collins 1993", Shear Behaivor "Damage Based". For Reinforcement using "Embedded Bar" and "Von Mises Plasticity". The Graph i am getting is as attached. W.r.t The displacement, i am getting the trend with lower stength values than the experiment, but getting unnecessary jumps in strength values particularly after 20 mm displacement. Kindly guide how to resolve the issue and calibrate the model numerically Regards Zeeshan Ahmad

While Exporting the ETABS File for Foundation Design in SAFE, i am trying isolated footing. The model after i export gives me the following errors, but when i delete the footings in ETABS and then export it, then no error. i dont know what is the issue. in version 2017, there was an option of automatic rebar. However, they have removed that now and in newer versions you cant find them. if you want to avail this option, you have to buy the rivet software which is very costly and you have to pay it on per year basis kindly guide if someone has any clue to this problem

Hello! in Etabs V19, they have removed UBC-97 optino. however, in ETABS V19, they have retained UBC-97 the question is, while using the Design in Pakistan following BCP-2021. in ETABS for Seismic type in load pattern option, should we select UBC-97 or ASCE 7-16 ? If ASCE 7-16, how to use the values for Ss and S1? Thanks

Dear Engineers! i need guidance in modelling overhead water tank in etabs. For Top Slab, the spans are 30'x30'. Should i provide beams to support the slab. Further, normally we dont see columns extending to the top and terminates at the verge of shear wall. should i extend the columns beyond the last level and extend it in the water tank walls to support the beams. Further, if beams are necessary they will cross each other in the middle but will be without any support due to water tank. lastly, what should be the preferred foundation type. also detailing of RCC wall
