I have modeled a CLT shearwall in Etabs using a shell element as an orthotropic material. I would like to compare the wall shear capacity with the shear forces under a specific load combination. Should I get the values from the piers (shear 2-2) or shell forces/stresses (F12) section? For the direction of local axis, the red color (strong axis) is aligned along the wall length. Thanks.
